Vox is another blog project launched by Six Apart, the power behind LiveJournal, TypePad and MoveableType (a professional publishing platform). Vox is Six Apart’s product for fun, it is a free site that is easy to use and supports video, audio and image uploads as well as blogging.

Vox provides nearly 170 blog templates and four layouts with customizable sidebar options. However they do not provide open source templates, this site is designed to be easy to use and offers few advanced options. But this is a good service for beginners and so far the site is not loaded with ads and they display less sexual images on their primary pages than MySpace.

Vox supports Amazon affiliations and offers public, private and protected blogs. However, Vox offers few tracking tools other than comments.
